Responsibilities

  • Content Development, Implementation and Capacity Building
  • Design and layout study products to share with community people and a larger audience
  • Create effective, unique ways to engage with communities through a mix of structured sessions and social mobilization campaigns and various communication interventions.
  • Prepare and implement strategies for engaging with family, men, and boys through community-level mid media and IPC interventions
  • Lead activity-specific thematic content development for the community level street theatre campaigns in close collaboration with partners through iterative processes
  • Ensure efficient roll-out of street theatre campaign in line with campaign objectives and milestones in collaboration with partners
  • Provide strategic and operational support for radio content development through participatory processes and its broadcasting and narrowcasting in close collaboration with experts and partners.
  • Strategize for further linkages to the girls' collectives/groups and mentors to larger platforms.
  • Support in preparation of RFP for the selection of agency for street theatre
  • Project Management
  • Work in close collaboration with the Chief of Project and other team members to define strategic planning, implementation roll out and management of specific mid media and IPC interventions in the project.
  • Provide strategic and operational guidance to partner organizations in each district in line with the requirements of mid media and IPC activities, handholding of frontline workers in IPC
  • Developing specific messages for target groups like men, boys and marriage mediators
  • Manage routine communications with the team, consultants, and partners on the routine functioning; and produce project reports and updates, as needed
  • Mentoring of street theatre activities to ensure quality performance
  • Monitor and track the project budget and expenditure for specific activities in close coordination with the Chief of Project.
  • Represent the organization in different forum and workshops to share our learnings and achievements
  • Support in organizing training for street theatre at the district level.
Required Candidate Profile:
Education:
 Master's degree in a relevant field (mass communication, social work, rural development or related subject)
